Turn the quick release lock lever to detach the plate. Avoid forcing the lever back against the stopper.
Insert camera screw into tripod mount. Turn knob to fix firmly. Slide plate into the quick release mount slantways.
The plate locks automatically after attaching. Fasten the plate lock lever tightly to ensure it is locked.
Loosen tilt lock knob to move camera platform and base plate freely. Can tilt camera 90 degrees for vertical photos.
Turn leg lock nut counterclockwise one half turn to extend each leg.
Loosen center column locking collar. Raise column to desired height and lock by turning collar clockwise.
Release collar, place suction cup on a smooth flat surface, press tripod down, and pull center column up slightly.
Use as a chest pod for extra support or for low angle photography.
