  If your SMA Inverter shows a DC overvoltage error, immediately disconnect the inverter from all voltage sources. Check whether the DC voltage is below the maximum input voltage of the inverter. Ensure that the PV array has been correctly rated, or contact the installer of the PV array if the DC voltage exceeds the maximum input voltage of the inverter. Contact Service if this message is repeated frequently.

  If your SMA Inverter displays Grid incident (Event 801), ensure the miniature circuit breaker is switched on. Check that the AC cable is undamaged and correctly connected, and verify that the country data set is configured correctly. Also, check if the grid voltage at the inverter's connection point is within the permissible range. If the grid voltage is outside the permissible range due to local grid conditions, contact the grid operator. If the grid voltage is within the permissible range and the message continues to appear, contact the Service.

If the grid voltage remains within the permissible range and the message persists, contact the Service.

  If you've forgotten your password for the SMA Inverter, you can assign the changed password of the user group Installer as the new system password in the communication product. Alternatively, you can request a PUK via an application form at www.SMA-Solar.com. To use the PUK, open the user interface, enter the PUK instead of the password in the Password field, and select Login. Then, go to Device parameters, click on Edit parameters, and in User Rights > Access Control, change the password of the desired user group. Finally, save the changes by selecting Save all.
