Remote Control Operation

  • Remote Control Layout (P21): The remote control features channels (1-6), signal light, Up/Open, Stop, and Down/Close buttons. Channels 1-5 are for individual control, while channel 6 is undeveloped.
  • Set Limit Position Instruction (P23-P25):
    • Clear Limit Position: Long press the connecting button on the motor for 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes, then long press again until the light turns off.
    • Manual Open/Close: Manually open or close the curtain to the desired fully open or fully closed position.
    • Remote Control Connection:
      1. Long press the connecting button on the motor for 3 seconds (red light on).
      2. Select a channel on the remote control.
      3. Press the connecting button on the motor again (red light flashing).
      4. Press the "Stop" button on the remote control. The motor's red light will stop flashing, indicating successful connection.
      5. Repeat for additional curtains, selecting a different channel each time. Note: Resetting the limit position is required after adjusting the truck length.
  • Delete Remote Control (P26): Long press the connecting button on the motor, then long press the "Channel +" and "Stop" buttons on the remote control for 5 seconds.
  • Enable Manual Mode (P27): Long press the "Channel +" and "Stop" buttons on the remote control for 5 seconds, then press the connecting button on the motor within 5 seconds.
  • Disable Manual Mode (P28): Long press the "Channel -" and "Stop" buttons on the remote control for 5 seconds, then press the connecting button on the motor within 5 seconds.

Smart Home Integration

  • "Tuya Smart" App User Manual (P29-P32):
    1. Search and Download: Search for "Tuya Smart" app on your smartphone.
    2. Add Device:
      • Ensure phone is connected to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
      • Open the app, click "+" to add a device.
      • Select "Curtain" under "Small Home Appliances".
      • Reset the device by quickly pressing and holding the motor's connecting button 4 times until the LED light flashes.
      • Confirm the indicator is rapidly blinking in the app and proceed.
      • Enter Wi-Fi password.
      • The app will scan, register, and initialize the device.
      • Once added, the device will appear in the app.
    3. App Interface: The app allows control of the curtain (open, close, stop), displays current state (e.g., 50%), and offers options for scheduling and settings.
  • Alexa & Voice Control (P33-P36):
    1. Link Tuya Smart to Alexa:
      • Open the Alexa app and search for "Tuya Smart" skill.
      • Enable the skill.
      • Link your Tuya Smart account by entering your credentials.
      • Once linked, close the window to discover smart home devices.
    2. Discover Devices: In the Alexa app, initiate device discovery. Alexa will search for and connect to your Smart Electric Curtain.
    3. Voice Commands: Once discovered, you can use voice commands like "Alexa, turn on hallway light" (example provided, implying "Alexa, open the curtain" or "Alexa, close the curtain" would be applicable).

Maintenance Features

  • Safety Precautions (P2):
    • Do not use outdoors or in high-temperature environments. Avoid direct sun exposure.
    • Do not impact or drop parts; do not disassemble or repair.
    • Do not use volatile chemicals (thinners, benzene) to clean parts, as this may cause fire or damage.
    • Follow wiring diagrams during installation.
    • Avoid splashing water on the shade rail or motor to prevent problems, leakage, or fire.
  • Battery Replacement (P21): The remote control uses a 3V CR2032 lithium cell battery, which is not included. Instructions for replacing the battery are implied by the diagram showing the battery compartment.
