Using Battery Cartridge To Power The HGR-1000:
The HGR-1000 ashlight has a Dual Power option. It can
run either on the included rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery
or it can run on AAA batteries using the included Alkaline
Battery Cartridge and (4) AAA batteries.
1. Unscrew the back portion of the ashlight and remove
the Smartech Lithium-Ion battery. See Figure H.
2. Put the provided AAA batteries into the Battery
Cartridge. Make sure that the negative (at side) is the
one touching the springs, otherwise the ashlight won’t
work properly. See Figure I.
