3.4 Starting the Engine
OPERATE THE ENGINE IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA.
DO NOT connect any electrical devices to the outlets on the generator
before starting the engine.
1. Turn the Smart Throttle switch “OFF”
You may turn the Smart Throttle switch to
“ON” once the engine is started and a steady
idle is achieved. (below 0°(32°F)/5mins,
below 5°C(41°F)/3mins.)
2. While holding the fuel
tank cap so that it will not
move, turn the air vent
knob to “ON”.
3. Turn the Fuel Petcock knob to the
“ON” position.
