Network Setting
Allow you to configure the network settings that include the workgroup name,
MAC address, and FTP server settings.
NOTE:
z The time between AD server and the SMCNAS Samba server must be in sync (use
NTP). Please check chapter 5 for AD setup on how to do this.
z You only can choose the “workgroup” of NAS or “AD full domain”
z If AD domain is selected, user cannot use the local user account to connect to NAS via
Samba.
z “~”, “!”, “#”, “$”, “%”, “^”, “&”, “(“, “)”, “-“, “{“, “}”, “.”, “'”, and space can be included in AD
account.
