Why Smeg Washer does not start after pressing start?
    • A
      astanleyAug 9, 2025
If your Smeg Washer doesn't start even after pressing “Start(Pause)”, make sure the lid is properly closed. Also, check if the “Lock buttons” function is activated (if your model has it). To unlock, press and hold the temperature and spin speed buttons simultaneously for at least 3 seconds until the key symbol disappears from the display.

Why does my Smeg TLS106 Washer vibrate during the spin cycle?
    • J
      Jennifer CaseAug 14, 2025
If your Smeg Washer vibrates a lot during the spin cycle, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, check if the washing machine is level and the feet are properly adjusted. If not, adjust them accordingly. Also, make sure the transport bracket has been removed before you started using the washing machine.

What to do if the Smeg TLS106 final spin results are poor?
    • K
      Kathleen JohnsonAug 19, 2025
If your Smeg Washer's final spin results are poor, several factors could be at play. It's possible that heavy items are preventing proper spinning; try adding smaller articles and repeating the spin cycle. Excessive foam might also be the culprit, so select and start the "Rinse & Spin" program and avoid using too much detergent. Also, check if the "Variable spin" button is set to a low spin speed or if the "No spin" option is activated, and adjust accordingly.

Why is the Smeg TLS106 Washer programme duration longer or shorter than indicated?
    • A
      angela76Aug 25, 2025
The duration of a Smeg Washer programme can vary based on factors like excessive foam, unbalanced load, or low inlet water temperature. The washer adapts to these conditions, recalculating the duration, which may be displayed with an animation. For small loads, the programme time may be reduced by up to 50%.

What to do if Smeg Washer stops during the programme?
    • K
      Kristen FloresAug 29, 2025
If your Smeg Washer stops during a programme and the “Start(Pause)” light flashes, several things could be happening. The “Rinse hold” option might be activated; terminate it by pressing “Start(Pause)” or choosing “Drain”. The programme might have been changed; reselect your desired programme and press “Start(Pause)”. If the lid was opened, close it and restart the programme. It's also possible the appliance’s safety system has been activated or that the water tap is not open or the inlet hose is kinked. Check the water supply if the “Water tap closed” indicator is lit.

Why does Smeg Washer detergent dispenser contain residues at the end of wash?
    • L
      loganburkeSep 3, 2025
If you find residues from detergent or additives in the dispenser of your Smeg Washer after the wash, it could be that the dispenser isn't installed correctly or is blocked. You should check the installation and clear any blockages. Also, the filter in the water inlet hose might be blocked, so inspect and clean that as well.
