option can be selected.Selecting “Cotton 95”, this programme eleiminates bacteria,

ensuring sanitization of your laundry. The bacteria removal efficiency has been

tested following a similar methodology to the NF EN 13697 standard of Nov. 2001.

Why Smeg Washer does not start after pressing start?

  If your Smeg Washer doesn't start even after pressing “Start(Pause)”, make sure the lid is properly closed. Also, check if the “Lock buttons” function is activated (if your model has it). To unlock, press and hold the temperature and spin speed buttons simultaneously for at least 3 seconds until the key symbol disappears from the display.

  If your Smeg Washer vibrates a lot during the spin cycle, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, check if the washing machine is level and the feet are properly adjusted. If not, adjust them accordingly. Also, make sure the transport bracket has been removed before you started using the washing machine.

  If your Smeg Washer stops during a programme and the “Start(Pause)” light flashes, several things could be happening. The “Rinse hold” option might be activated; terminate it by pressing “Start(Pause)” or choosing “Drain”. The programme might have been changed; reselect your desired programme and press “Start(Pause)”. If the lid was opened, close it and restart the programme. It's also possible the appliance’s safety system has been activated or that the water tap is not open or the inlet hose is kinked. Check the water supply if the “Water tap closed” indicator is lit.

You should check the installation and clear any blockages. Also, the filter in the water inlet hose might be blocked, so inspect and clean that as well.
