Install
the
thin
thrust
washer
on
the
swashplate.
See
Fig¬
ure
5.4.
Instaii
baii
bearing.
Install
the
thick
thrust
washer.
Inspect
all
components
of
the
pump
cylinder
biock
to
make
sure
they
are
clean,
then
coat
them
lightly
with
motor
oil
before
assembling.

5.5.
To
assemble
pump
cylinder
block,
place
a
spring
in
each
opening,
then
top
each
spring
with
a
pump
piston
washer.
Insert
the
pump
pistons
into
the
cylinder
biock
one
at
a
timw.
Hold
your
fingers
tightiy
between
the
pistons
to
prevent
them
from
dropping
out
of
the
cyiinder
biock.

Hoid
the
cylinder
biock
assembly
firmly
and
install
it
onto
the
pump
shaft.
Make
sure
that
the
spiines
on
the
shaft
and
cyiinder
biock
are
aligned,
then
siowiy
release
your
hold
on
the
cylinder
block
assembly.
PUMP
MOTOR
&
DRIVE
SHAFT
ASSEMBLY
Install
the
bearings,
snap
ring
and
a
new
seal
on
the
drive
shaft.

NOTE:
Coat
inside
lip
of
seal
with
30
WT.
motor
oil
and
wrap
spline-end
of
shaft
with
tape
before
installing
seal.
