Listening Room Placement
Follow these guidelines for proper placement. (Refer to Ideal SR7 Placement diagram.)
Height
Place the surrounds at least 5 feet (1.5m) from the floor, yet 12-inches (30cm) from the ceiling.
Higher is better.
Placement
On the side walls, center surrounds to the listening area.
Boundaries
Keep the surrounds at least 12-inches (30cm) away from an adjacent wall or a large obstacle. Thus
creating a diffuse sound field for that channel.
Coverage Area
In larger spaces, we recommend using one surround speaker system for every three rows of seats
(approximately 10-inches between surround speakers).
