Do you have a question about the SNOWJOE 24V-SS10-RM and is the answer not in the manual?
Read all instructions before using this cordless snow shovel. Basic safety precautions should always be followed.
You and any other operator must read, understand, and follow these instructions in their entirety.
Do not charge the battery pack in rain, snow or in damp or wet locations. Avoid explosive atmospheres.
Do not block charger vents. Keep them clear for proper ventilation. Do not allow smoking or open flames.
When unplugging the charger, pull the plug, not the cord, from the receptacle to reduce risk of damage.
Using the wrong, damaged or improperly wired extension cord poses a risk of fire and electric shock.
Battery packs may explode, causing personal injury or damage. Toxic fumes and materials are created when burned.
Do not use the battery pack or charger if they have sustained a sharp blow or been dropped.
Never let a damaged battery pack contact skin, eyes or mouth. Wash affected area with soap and water.
Exhaustive discharge will damage the battery cells. Stop working as soon as performance falls noticeably.
Immediately replace batteries that have been dropped or exposed to violent shocks, even if housing appears undamaged.
Do not exceed maximum charging times. Frequent insertion of charged batteries leads to overcharging.
Charging at temperatures below 41°F (5°C) will cause chemical damage to the cells and may cause a fire.
Never fully discharge the battery pack (max recommended discharge is 80%). Complete discharge leads to premature aging.
Store only in dry locations with ambient temperature of 41°F – 105°F (5°C - 40.5°C). Protect from humidity.
Battery packs stored below 32°F (0°C) for more than 60 minutes must be discarded.
