DESCRIPTION
TheCalibra
®
822isanairdisplacementadjustablevol-
ume micropipette intended for the accurate, precise
andeasypipettingofvolumesfrom0.2to1000µL.Its
unique,patented SolidCalibration
®
Twin Camsystem
providesforbothdigitalentryanddigitaldisplayofthe
volume.Materialshavebeencarefully selected toen-
sure durability and optimal resistance to aggressive
media.
Theunitisautoclavableat121°Cfullyassembled.
Other major features include instant volume setting,
integraltipejectoractivatedbyseparatepushbutton,
slimshaftfornarrowvialsandattractivecolourcoding.
Calibration stability owed to precalibratedTwin Cam
System. However in-lab calibration easily performed
whenrequired.
VOLUME SETTING (Fig. 1)
Twocylindricalcamsttedwithpre-calibratedstepsro-
tateontheiraxis.Thelargecamshowsthegureson
thelefthandsideofthewindow,thesmalloneonits
righthandside.
Thevolumesettingasdescribedbelowandillustrated
inFig.1isfast,easyandglovefriendly.
1. Pushplungerbuttonwiththumbandpointertothe
rststopandlockitbyaclockwisequarterofaturn.
2a.Turn setting wheel clockwise or counter-clockwise
untiltheexpectedkeyvolumesappearattheleftof
thewindow.
2b.Ifrequired,pulloutsettingwheel(positionclicks-in)
andrepeatpoint2aforthenetuning(notavailable
on2µLmodel).
3. Pushsettingwheelbacktotheinitialpositionand
unlockplungerbutton.

Die Calibra
®
 822 ist eine einstellbare Luftpolster-Mi-
kropipette für präzises und einfaches Pipettieren der
Volumen von0.2bis 1000µl. Ihreinzigartiges,paten-
tiertes Solid Calibration
®
Twin Cam System sorgt für
eine digitale Eingabe undAnzeige desVolumens.Die
sorgfältig ausgewählten Materialien der Calibra
®
ge-
währleistenDauerhaftigkeitundoptimaleResistenzge-
gen aggressive Medien. Die Pipette ist bei 121°C,
komplettzusammengesetzt,autoklavierbar.
Rasche Volumenwahl, voll integrierter Spitzenabwurf,
schlanken Reagenzgläsernangepasster Schaftund at-
traktiverFarbkodesindweiterePluspunktederPipette.
DieLehremitihrenvorkalibriertenStufenstehtfüreine

notwendig.
VOLUMEN EINSTELLEN (Fig. 1)
Das zu pipettierendeVolumen wirdüber zwei Stufen-
lehren eingestellt: die Zahlen der grossen Lehre er-
scheinenimFensterlinksunddiederkleinenrechts.
DasVolumen lässtsichleichtundraschwiefolgt ein-
stellen(sieheauchFig.1):
1. DruckknopfbiszumerstenAnschlagherunterdrük-
kenunddurcheineVierteldrehungnachrechtsein-
rasten.
2a.Einstellradvor-oderrückwärtsdrehen,bisdasge-
wünschteHauptvolumenlinksimFenstererscheint.
2b.Fallsnötig,Einstellradhochziehen(dierichtigePo-
sition wird durch Einrasten gekennzeichnet). Vor-
gangwiederholen, um Zweitvolumen einzustellen
(ausserbeim2µlModell).
3. EinstellradinAusgangspositionzurückdrückenund
Druckknopfentriegeln.

RÉGLAGE DU VOLUME (Fig. 1)
Deuxcamescylindriquesmuniesde butéesxespré-
étalonnées pivotent sur leur axe: la grande porte les
chiffressituésàgauchedanslafenêtre,lapetiteceux
situéssurladroite.
L’ajustementduvolumetelquedécritci-dessousetil-
lustrédanslaFig.1estrapideetaisé,mêmepourune
main gantée.
1. Presserlebouton-poussoirjusqu’àlapremièrebu-
téeetleverrouillerparunquartdetouràdroite.
2a.Tournerlamolettederéglagedansunsensoudans
l’autrejusqu’àl’afchageduvolumeprincipal.
2b.Sinécessaire,tirerlamolettederéglageverslehaut
(lapositionestmarquéeparuncrantage),puispro-
céderdemêmepourleréglagen(saufmodèle2µl).
3. Repousserlamolettedanssapositionoriginaleet
déverrouillerlebouton-poussoir.
