2. SAFETY
Before installing and using this product, please read this manual carefully.

2) Do not drop!
3) Do not spill liquid on the product or immerse in liquid.
4) Do not use abrasive products or solvents to clean the
product. Its surface can be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth.
In compliance with standard EN 12453 on the safe use of power operated doors and gates, if
using the Chronis io to control an automatic garage door or gate not visible to the user, it is
obligatory for a photo-electric cell type security device to be installed on this automated system. If
these instructions are not complied with, SOMFY does not accept any liability for any damage that
may be caused.
It is prohibited to use the Chronis io to control an alarm device.
