Why is my SOMFY Smoke Alarm flashing red and beeping every 40 seconds?
If your SOMFY Smoke Alarm's red LED flashes and beeps every 40 seconds, there are a few possible reasons. If the LED flashes once, replace the batteries and test the detector again. If the LED flashes three times, the detector is faulty and should be replaced. You can also temporarily deactivate the beep for 10 hours by pressing the button on the detector.
