7.3.1 Setting the automatic closing function (black potentiometer)

Automatic closing is activated when potentiometer 2 is switched on (turned clockwise).
The potentiometer is switched off by factory default (set all the way to the left stop).
The hold open time is also set by turning it clockwise. The maximum hold open time
is approx. 120 seconds.

Automatic closing is activated when
• DIPswitch5issetto"ON"and
• thedoorisopenedwiththePulsebutton.
The hold open time is a constant 20 seconds. It can be changed with a TorMinal
(parameter: 13).
7.3.3 Reducing the interval before automatic closing
This function reduces the hold open time to 5 seconds when automatic closing is activated
ifsomethingpassesthroughthephotocellwhenthedoorisopen.DIPswitches3and4
must be set to "ON."
In some cases, you might like a short hold open time, e.g., when driving the car into the
underground garage of an apartment block at night.
