within 12 inches / 30 cm of your mouth during
phone conversation

Press and hold the volume up or down key
for 2 3 seconds to mute the hearing aid
microphones.
Caution: Do not mute the hearing aid
microphones in listening situations that require
your better hearing, e.g., traffic.
