Message Settings
To view or dene settings for your messages, select
Menu > Messages > Message settings.
SMS Settings
Select Message settings > Text message to edit the
following SMS settings:
Prole settings: You can view and edit the prole
name, validity period, and type of message.
Common settings: You can set the following
options:
Settings Function
Delivery report You can get a confirmation
report whether or not the
message has been delivered.
Save sent
message
You can save the sent
messages.
Memory status: You can view the number of
messages stored in the SIM and mobile phone.
Preferred storage: You can select SIM card or
Phone memory as the storage location of messages.
By default, the storage location will be Phone
memory.
Preferred connection: Select the type of
connection whether GPRS or GSM or only GSM.
MMS Settings
Select Message settings > Multimedia message to edit
the following MMS settings:
You can also update the MMS settings from
www.sonimtech.com/support and then click
Over the air Internet Settings.
Proles: You can add a new prole, activate, and
view the details of an existing prole. You can view
the prole name, data account, connection type,
user name, and password.
Common settings: You can set the following
options:
Settings Function
Compose You can set the slide time,
creation mode, picture size
and select to insert signature
automatically. You can enter the
text, picture, video, or sound for
the signature.
Sending You can set the validity period,
activate to receive the delivery
report and read report, priority,
delivery time and save the sent
message.
Retrieval You can select to retrieve the
message in home network or
while roaming. You can allow
or reject anonymous mails and
advertisements, You can send
the read report and delivery
report.
Preferred
storage
You can select mobile phone or
memory card as the stoarage
location of messages.
