Overview

The Phonak Audéo M-R/RT and Phonak Audéo M-R/RT Trial are rechargeable hearing aids designed to amplify and transmit sound to the ears, compensating for impaired hearing. These devices are part of the Phonak Audéo™ M series and are accompanied by user guides for proper usage and maintenance.

Function Description:

The Phonak Audéo M hearing aids are equipped with a multi-function button that serves as an on/off switch, volume control, and/or program change, depending on individual programming. When paired with a Bluetooth® enabled phone, a short press accepts an incoming call, and a long press rejects it. The hearing aids connect directly with Bluetooth® enabled phones, allowing the user to hear the caller's voice directly in the hearing aids, which pick up the user's voice through their own microphones. The devices also support connectivity with a TV Connector for audio sources like TVs, PCs, or hi-fi systems, and Roger wireless microphones (available Fall 2019). The hearing aids feature a flight mode to disable wireless functions when required, for example, during air travel. A Tinnitus Balance noise generator, if enabled, provides sound enrichment as part of a personalized tinnitus management program for temporary relief.
