You can use the supplied remote to control the
system.
Note
You cannot perform the following operations with the
remote;
— Removing a disc
— Switching between the “MD” or “VIDEO”
function
— Resetting the system

1 ?/1 (power) switch
2 The sound source buttons
MD/VIDEO button
CD button
TUNER/BAND button
Press to select the tuner for the sound source, or
to select the FM or AM band.
If you press the button while the system is off, the
system automatically turns on and tunes in the
station last received.
3 N (play) button
If you press the button while the system is off, the
system automatically turns on and the CD player
starts playing if there is a CD on the disc tray.
X (pause) button
x (stop) button
4 REPEAT button
Press to play a track or all the tracks repeatedly
(page 11).
5 ./> (AMS: Automatic Music
Sensor), PRESET +/– buttons
Press to select a track, preset number, or item
(pages 6-9, 11, 12 and 17).
6 m/M, TUNING +/– buttons
The m/M buttons locate a desired point in a
track during CD play or pause (page 9).
Press to tune in a radio station (pages 7 and 10).
7 DISPLAY button
Press to show the various information (pages 6, 8,
12, 13 and 16).
8 CLOCK/TIMER SELECT button
Press to check timer settings, or to set the timer
on/off (page 18).
CLOCK/TIMER SET button
Press to set the clock or timer functions (pages 6
and 17).
