Recording from the
radio
— Manual Recording
You can analog record a radio programme on an
MD. If you use a partially recorded MD, recording
starts after the recorded tracks. To erase the
recorded contents, see “Erasing recordings” on
page 43.
To turn on the system, press ?/1 (power).

1 Insert a recordable MD.
With the label side up, and the
shutter on the righthand side
With the arrow
pointing toward
the deck
2 Press TUNER BAND to select the band
you want.
3 Turn the jog dial to tune in a preset
station.
Turn counter-
clockwise for
lower preset
numbers.
Turn clockwise
for higher preset
numbers.
Preset number Frequency
TUNED
STEREO
4 Press REC/REC IT.
The MD deck stands by for recording.
5 Press MD S.
Recording starts.
To stop recording
Press MD s.
