2 Make sure to match the locking screw with
the screw groove on the camera, and then
turn the locking screw to secure the stand
to the camera.

Attach the tripod here.
See the operating instructions supplied with the
tripod for the method of attaching the tripod.
Use a tripod with a screw length of less than
5.5 mm (7/32 inch). You will be unable to firmly
secure the stand to tripods having longer screws,
and may damage the stand.
Be careful so that the tip of the tripod screw
does not scratch the stand.
Attach the tripod so that the camera is stable. If
you shoot with the camera in an unstable
condition, the camera may fall, resulting in
damage or malfunction.
