Initialization
After start-up, the bin unit positions and VTR positions must be
memorized to ensure proper cassette handling by the elevator. This
memorizing process is called “Initialization” of the Flexicart.
Pressing the INITIAL key on the display panel initializes the Flexicart.
Turning-Off
Turn off the Flexicart as follows:
1 Make sure that:
•the elevator is not accessing any bin or VTR, and
•no VTR has a cassette in it.
2 Stop the power supply for the Flexicart (BFC-1).
3 Power off the VTRs and the external switchers.
When you are using an application computer, first ensure that the
computer is not accessing the floppy disk or hard disk, then power it
off.
