The speaker system cannot be
turned off or [Advanced Settings]
cannot be used./When pressing
(power), [.DEMO] appears in the
front panel display and the speaker
system cannot be turned off.
The speaker system may be in demo
mode. To cancel demo mode, reset
the speaker system (page 52). Press
and hold (power) and – (volume) on
the bar speaker for more than 5
seconds.
The speaker system restarts.
When connecting to a TV with a
resolution that is different from that of
the speaker system, the speaker
system may restart to reset the
picture output setting.
Resetting the Speaker
System
If the speaker system still does not
operate properly, reset the speaker
system as follows.
1 Press HOME.
The home menu appears on the TV
screen.
2 Select [Setup] - [Advanced
Settings] on the home menu.
3 Select [Resetting].
4 Select the menu item you want to
reset.
5 Select [Start].
To cancel resetting
Select [Cancel] in step 5.
1 Press and hold (power) and –
(volume) on the bar speaker for
more than 5 seconds.
The settings return to their initial
status.
By resetting, the link with the optional
subwoofer and rear speakers may be lost.
In this case, reconnect them by referring to
their operating instructions.
