1 Press FUNCTION + or – repeatedly (or
TUNER/BAND on the unit) to switch the
function to TUNER.
2 Press BAND (or TUNER/BAND on the
unit) repeatedly to select “FM” or
“AM”.
3 Press TUNING MODE repeatedly until
“AUTO” and “PRESET” disappear from
the display.
4 Press TUNING + or – repeatedly to tune
in the desired station.
Notes
• The OSD does not appear on the TV screen except
for DVD function.
• When switching to DVD function from tuner, a
longer time may be required to access the disc. In this
case, set “DVD PWR ON” by DVD power manage
function (page 38).
Tips
• To improve broadcast reception, adjust the supplied
antennas, or connect a commercially available
external antenna.
• When an FM stereo program has static noise, press
FM MODE repeatedly until “MONO” appears.
There will be no stereo effect, but the reception will
improve.
• Press TUNING MODE repeatedly until “AUTO”
appears in step 3 above, then press TUNING + or –.
The frequency indication changes and scanning stops
when the system tunes in a station (Automatic
Tuning).
• To record the radio programs, use manual recording
(pages 42 and 50).
