The automatic standby function does
not work in the following cases:
during tuner function.
when the Sleep Timer is activated.
when microphone is connected.
Setting the
BLUETOOTH/Network
standby mode
The BLUETOOTH/Network standby
mode enables the system to
turn on automatically when you
establish a BLUETOOTH connection,
a Wi-Fi connection, or a wired LAN
connection.
1 Press OPTIONS.
2 Press / repeatedly to select
“NW STBY”, then press .
3 Press / repeatedly to select
the setting, then press .
“ON”: The system turns on
automatically even when the
system is in standby mode.
“OFF”: Turns off this function.
To exit the options menu, press
OPTIONS.
Turning on or off the
BLUETOOTH/Wi-Fi
signal
You can connect to the system from
a linked network device or a paired
BLUETOOTH device in all functions
when the system’s BLUETOOTH/
Wi-Fi signal is set to on. The
BLUETOOTH/Wi-Fi signal is turned
on by default.
1 Press OPTIONS.
2 Press / repeatedly to select
“RF”, then press .
3 Press / repeatedly to select
the setting you want, then press
.
“RF ON”: Wi-Fi signal is on/
BLUETOOTH signal is on
“WIFI OFF”: Wi-Fi signal is off/
BLUETOOTH signal is on
“RF OFF”: Wi-Fi signal is off/
BLUETOOTH signal is off
To exit the options menu, press
OPTIONS.
Note
You cannot perform the following
operations when BLUETOOTH/Wi-Fi
signal is set to off:
Pairing and/or connecting with
BLUETOOTH device
Using “SongPal”
Change the BLUETOOTH audio
codecs
If you touch the N-Mark on the unit
with an NFC-compatible smartphone or
set the BLUETOOTH/Network standby
mode to on, the BLUETOOTH/Wi-Fi
signal will be set to on automatically.
