RECORDING
LEVEL
ADJUSTMENT
A
high
recording
level
is
recommended
to
reduce
annoying
tape
noise,
but
overloaded
and
distorted
tapes
could
result
if
the
level
is
too
high.
Recording
level
should
be
set
at
the
maximum

The
higher
the
tape

is,
the
higher
the
recording
level
can
be
set,
which
provides
the
full
dynamic
range
of
the
tape
and
a
better
signal-to-noise
ratio.
