To stop recording before end-
of-tape, depress the ™@ button.
® At end-of-tape, the tape motion stops and the locked buttons

Note: Make sure that nothing is connected to the MIC jack. If an
external microphone or connecting cord is connected to the MIC
jack, the built-in microphones will be disconnected.
For recording on the TCS-310, we recommend using normal type | tapes. The other
types, especially type !V, are not recommended.
Uni-directional. microphones, such as the built-in microphones,
are apt to pick up wind noise and make a popping sound when
a sound such as “p” is pronounced. You can reduce these ef-
fects by covering the microphones with a cloth, although the
tone quality will suffer slightly.
