Positioning of stereo sound in recording and playback
To obtain a stereo recording that duplicates the original sounc
field, be careful of the positioning of the built-in microphones.
The sound which is recorded from the L (left) built-in microphone
is played back from the left headphone unit and the sound from
the R (right) built-in microphone is played back from the right
headphone unit.

Thus, if the recorder is facing the sound source as illustrated
below, the playback sound from the left and right headphone
units will be reversed.
