Removing/Reinstalling the Battery Pack
To remove the battery pack
You will lose all unsaved data if you remove the battery pack while your VAIO computer is on or
in Sleep mode and not connected to the AC adapter.
Be sure to turn off the computer before removing the battery pack.
1 Turn off your VAIO computer, disconnect the power cord and all connection
cables, and close the LCD screen lid.
2 Loosen the three or two screws with a coin.

3 Pull the battery pack slightly in the direction of the arrow.

Do not pull the battery pack forcibly when you cannot remove it. Loosen the screws once
again.
4 Take the battery pack out of your VAIO computer.

Tighten the three or two screws with a coin to secure the reinstalled battery pack.
