Design Features

Amplifier Functions and Controls

Speaker Connection

Connect speakers with correct polarity (+ to +, - to -). Use AWG 16# cable.

+12V Battery Terminal

Connect +12V power cable with an in-line fuse near the battery terminal. Use Gauge 4 cable and 80A fuse.

Remote ON/OFF Input

Connect remote control cable to source unit remote terminal for automatic ON/OFF.

Ground Terminal

Connect chassis ground cable tightly to a nearby conductive point.

Gain Control

Adjust sensitivity to match source unit output. Avoid distortion by setting gain correctly.

RCA Audio Input

Connect source unit RCA outputs using car audio RCA cables. Use Y-RCA or HIGH-LOW adaptor if needed.

High-Pass Filter (4x Channels)

Adjusts high-pass frequency for channels 1-4, cutoff increases clockwise up to 200Hz.

Subsonic Filter

Filters low frequencies from 10Hz to 50Hz to improve woofer power handling.

Low Pass Filter

Filters high frequencies from 50-200Hz that woofers cannot play.

Run/Alarm Indicator

Blue LED indicates normal operation; Red LED indicates a fault (heat, polarity, short circuit).

Remote Bass Level Control

Allows convenient bass level adjustment from the drive seat.

Woofer Channel Signal Selector

Selects signal source for subwoofer channel: RCA input or mixed 4x channel bass signal.

Pre-Installation Guidelines

Power Cable Installation

Use insulated 4# power cable with an 80A fuse near the battery terminal.

RCA Cable Routing

Use car audio RCA cables, keep them short, and avoid routing near existing car cables.

Cable Protection

Protect all cables from damage when passing through vehicle metal or rubber parts.

Ground Connection

Connect the ground cable directly to a metal chassis ground point.

Amplifier Mounting

Mount securely in a solid, dry, low-vibration area with good airflow for heat dissipation.

Check connections, fuses, and remote voltage.

No Output (Power LED On)

Check volume, gain, RCA, and speaker connections.

One Channel No Function

Check RCA/speaker connections, source balance, or speaker damage.

Amplifier Switches On/Off

Check ground, terminals, voltage, and remote wire connection.

Distorted Output

Check source unit gain, amplifier gain, or speaker condition.

No Output (Protect LED On)

Check for short circuit, over temperature, overload, or low battery voltage.
