ADDING A COMPRESSOR OR A NOISE GATE TO THE INPUT
CHANNEL
Here, we will use the ‘Channel Mode’ view.
Make sure you have pressed the SEL button above the input channel you want to
process, and press the ‘CHANNEL MODE’ DYN key to place the GATE +
COMPRESSORS for the selected channel across the 16 encoders.
Press the GATE IN or COMP IN button in the CHANNEL MODE area to switch the
Gate or Compressor function on.
You can now use encoders in the
LOWER ROW to adjust the
settings for the GATE or
COMPRESSOR. You will see GATE
and COMPRESSOR activity start
to occur on the OLED screen
above the input channel you are
processing.
