Fold the exposed braiding back over the outer jacket of the coaxial cable.
Insert cable into F connector ensuring it's fully seated and dielectric is flush.
Kit connectors are for RG6 Dual Shield; RG6 Quad Shield may need specific connectors.
Cut the cable perpendicular to the tool for a clean cut.
Use the stripping tool to remove outer layers, exposing conductor and shielding.
A properly stripped cable shows 1/4" (6.4mm) of conductor and 1/4" (6.4mm) of shielding.
Open the crimp tool to prepare it for the connector assembly.
Place the connector assembly into the designated crimping chamber.
Squeeze the tool handles until the connector is fully crimped.
Tool accepts standard 20.3mm compression F connectors.
