TheTR82facemasksarecomposedofthefollowingelements:

 Thefacepieceofthemask,mouldedinrubberorsilicone;

 Highvisibilitypanoramicvisor,mouldedinnaturalpolycarbonateorwithanscratchresistanttreatmentor

inglass;

 Agroupunitingthethreadconnector(EN148‐1,EN148‐3orDIN58600bayonet),theexhalationvalves,theinhalationvalveand

thespeechdiaphragminoneplasticbody;

 An internalmask which reduces the dead space, moulded in rubber and equippedwith twovalves for

air circulation, which

preventsthevisorfromfoggingup;

 Anheadharnesswithfivestraps,mouldedinrubber,andequippedwithrapidreleasebuckles;

 Aneckstraptowearthemaskaroundtheneckduringbreaksfromwork.

Thefacemaskisinonesize,anditadaptstothe

facewithoutunduepressure,creatingaperfectfit.

2. Warningsandlimitations

 Donotusethemaskwithcl osed circuitoxygenbreathingapparatus;theseshouldbeus edwithmaskswithoutexhalationvalv es.

 Alwaysmakesurethatthemaskdoesguaranteetheairtightnessandperfectadherencetothe

faceduringthesealtest.

 Abeardand/ortheuseofspectaclesmayinterferewiththefitofthemaskontheface.Inthelattercase,usecorrectiveglasses

withaspecialframe,availableonrequest

 DonotuseModels1to5(masksforfilteringsystems)if

theairhasanoxygencontentwhichislowerthan17%involume(this

limitmayvaryaccordingtothedifferentprovisionsineffectinthecountrywheretheequipmentisused).

 DonotuseModels1to5(masksforfilteringsystems)ifthepollutantsareunknown.



Themaskscanbeusedwithoutanyriskinenvironmentswhicharerichinoxygen,explosivesand/orflammablesubstances.A

possibleriskmayariseiftheseareusedwithotherPPEwhicharenotsuitableforuseintheseenvironments.

 Whenthedangersaresuchthat,besidestheprotection

oftherespiratorytract,theuseofotherprotectiveequipmentisalso

required,onemustconfirmthecompatibilityofthisequipmentwiththemasks.TheuseofotherPPE(hearingprotectors,head

protectors,limbprotectors,etc.)shallnotlowertheeffectivenessoftheRespiratoryProtectionDevice.Alwaysdoatrial

fitting

beforeactualuse.

 In cases where the mask is used in the presence of particularly aggressive liquid chemical agents, always confirm the

compatibilityofthemaskwithsuchchemicalspriortouse.

3. Use

3.1 Puttingonthemask

Pullthe straps oftheheadpiece to their maximumlength

byreleasing theadjustment buckles.Supportthetemporal andside

strapsoftheheadpiecewithbothhands,whileatthesametimewideningthemsothatyoumaybeabletoinsertyourfaceinto

thefacemask.Onceyouhaveplacedyourchinontheappropriaterestingplace,passthe

headpieceoveryourhead,placingitin

Models1to5arenegativepressurefullfacemaskswhichhaveanEN148‐

1standardthreadconnectorandmaybeusedindifferentconfigurations:

with filters which are equipped with an EN 148‐1 standard thread

connection,withpowerassistedfilteringdevice,aspartofanairline,with

freshair

equipment.Models6to9arepositivepressurefullfacemasks

with an EN 148‐3 connector (models 6‐7) or a DIN 58600 bayonet

connector(models8‐9)sothattheycanbeusedascomponentsofaself‐

containedbreathingapparatus(SCBA).
