Why my Spear & Jackson 37 cc Chainsaw will not start?

If your Spear & Jackson Chainsaw doesn't start, or starts but won't continue running, there are several potential causes: * **Incorrect starting procedure:** Ensure you are starting the chainsaw as described on page 21 of the manual. * **Engaged chain brake:** Make sure the chain brake is disengaged as described on page 15 of the manual. * **Fouled spark plug:** Inspect the spark plug electrode gap using suitable feeler gauges as described on page 42. You can also clean the spark plug using a wire brush. * **Clogged fuel filter:** Clean or replace the fuel filter as described on page 40 of the manual.
