  If your Speck pumps Water Pump won't prime, it could be due to several reasons. First, check for suction air leaks by ensuring the see-through lid and o-rings are clean and correctly placed, and hand-tighten the lid. Also, tighten all pipes and fittings on the suction side. Ensure the water level in your pool is high enough for flow through the skimmer and that the strainer tank is full. Open all valves, clean the skimmer and strainer tank, and inspect the pump for impeller clogging. Finally, check the motor voltage; if it's too low, the pump won't run.
