Definition
Deployment
The act of locating the mounting location and installing
base stations and repeaters
Handover
A process initiated by the handset in which the speech channel
carrying an active conversation is passed from one base station
to another.
Erlang
The erlang is a dimensionless unit that is used in telephony as
a measure of offered load or carried load on service-providing
elements such as telephone circuits or telephone switching
equipment.
LED
Light Emitting Diode
Ni-MH
Nickel -Metal Hydride
Q Value
Signal Quality Factor value. An expression of the bit failure rate
in the communication between the handset and a base station.
The value has a max. of 64, equal to no bit errors measured.
