changed for different velocities
and spins, the ball will be pitched
to differing locations. Compen-
sate for these changes by turning
the elevation control, and by
moving the rear leg.

PITCH LOCATORS
Pitch Locators Purpose
Pitchlocatorsadjusttolimitchangeinthemovementofthethrowingheaddeningthe
location of the pitch: inside/outside and high/low or locked for repeatability.
There are three pitch locators and an elevation handle. Two pitch locators, left pitch locator
(LPL)andrightpitchlocator(RPL)controltheamountofhorizontal(inside/outside)pitch
location.(SeeFigure6).

1.Tolocatepitchinsideandoutsideforchangeinthehittersstrikezone(SeeFigure7).
2.Allowforwiderpitchesforcatcher’sblockingdrills(SeeFigure7).
3.Toallowheadtobelockedinpositionforpitchlocationrepeatability.(SeeFigure7).
4.Toallowforballstobethrownacrosswidthofineldorouteldforaroundballs/y
balls(fungo)fordefenssivework(Seepicabove).
