Usage Features:

  • Residential Use Only: This play set is strictly for residential use; commercial application voids the warranty.
  • Adult Supervision: On-site adult supervision is required at all times for children of all ages using the equipment.
  • Safety Guidelines:
    • Children must not use the equipment until it is properly assembled and anchored.
    • Do not allow children under six (6) years old to be near during assembly due to choking hazards from small parts.
    • Do not allow more than one child per individual swing, trapeze, or slide component. The flying saucer and glide ride have a maximum user limit of two persons.
    • Children must not stand on any seats or rides.
    • Children must maintain a safe distance from moving parts to avoid being struck.
    • Do not twist swing chains or ropes, or loop them over the top support bar, as this may reduce strength.
    • Do not swing empty seats.
    • Children should sit in the center of swinging parts with full weight placed on the seat center and holding onto the chains.
    • Children must come to a full stop before dismounting; do not jump off while in motion.
    • Appropriate attire is required: well-fitted rubber sole shoes, and removal of loose or sharp items (jewelry, hair accessories, scarves) that could entangle.
    • Children must remove bikes or other sports helmets before playing.
    • Do not slide down head first.
    • Do not climb onto swings or jump to/from different play areas.
    • Always return safely to the ground before approaching another play area.
    • Do not climb on structural parts (legs, top bar) as they are not designed for play.
    • Check the slide and other body-exposed parts for extreme heat from the sun before allowing use.
    • Prevent unauthorized use when adult supervision is not available.
    • Do not allow pets or other animals near the equipment.
    • Do not use the product during windy or tornado conditions, as wind can lift the equipment, causing serious injury or death.
  • Installation Surface: Must be installed on level ground. Uneven ground must be leveled. Do not install over hard surfaces like asphalt, concrete, packed earth, tile, or brick floor. Protective surfacing (wood chips, mulch, shredded rubber, sand, or pea gravel) is recommended.
  • Tripping Hazards: Remove roots, tree stumps, rocks, landscaping, sprinkler heads, railroad ties, plumbing, and electrical connections from the safe play area.
  • Weather Conditions: Do not use if parts are wet or during windy conditions. Equipment must be properly anchored, stored, or restricted from use during inclement weather.

Maintenance Features:

  • Pre-Use/Daily Inspection:
    • Check for missing or loose bolts and nuts. Ensure all parts are well-secured and stable.
    • Clear the play area of rocks, sharp objects, or hazardous materials.
    • Do not attach non-designed items (jump ropes, clothesline, pet leashes, cables, chains) that could cause choke hazards.
    • Inspect steel and plastic parts for normal wear, gradual deterioration (due to UV rays, pollution, weather, use level), cracks, excess wear, missing parts, loose connections, and overall integrity. Stop use immediately if weakness or damage is found.
    • Verify suspended climbing ropes, chains, or cables are secured at both ends and tightened to prevent choking hazards.
  • Monthly Maintenance (during usage season):
    • Inspect all nuts and bolts for tightness and tighten as required (especially at the beginning of each season).
    • Oil all metallic moving parts.
    • Sand rusted areas on metal tubing and repaint with nonlead-based paint (meeting 16 CFR Part 1303).

    • Rake and check depth of loose fill protective surfacing materials; replenish as needed.
