Overview

The SprayMate® Spritz is a 1-liter battery-powered spray bottle designed for efficient application of water-soluble chemicals and solutions, such as fertilizers, pesticides, and cleaning products. It offers a more efficient alternative to manual spray bottles, powered by two AA batteries.

Important Safety Information and Warnings:

  • Chemical Use: Always spray with fresh water for 3-5 minutes after using chemicals to clean out residual chemicals from the gun, tank, pump, and hose. This extends the life of the spray bottle. Never leave chemicals or solutions sitting in the spray bottle after use.
  • Battery and Storage: Always remove batteries before storage. Do not store the spray bottle in extremely high temperatures, as heat can lead to pressure build-up and potential explosion.
  • Modifications: Do not attempt to remove pressure from the pump with tools or make any modifications to the spray bottle.
  • Chemical Compatibility: Never spray flammable, caustic, acidic, chlorine, or other corrosive solutions, or heat, pressure, or gas-producing chemicals. Always read and follow chemical manufacturer's instructions before use with this spray bottle, as some chemicals may be hazardous.
  • Protective Equipment: Always wear proper protective equipment (clothing, respirator, gloves, eye protection) when operating.
  • Temperature Limits: Do not operate the spray bottle in temperatures lower than 32°F (0°C) or above 104°F (40°C).
  • Liquid Temperature: Never fill the spray bottle with hot liquids (maximum temperature = 176°F / 80°C) or gasoline.
  • Disposal: Do not dispose of batteries with household waste; recycle them where facilities exist.
  • Water Damage: The spray bottle is susceptible to water damage if left in wet conditions. Store it in a cool, dry place.
  • Replacement Parts: Always use SprayMate® original replacement parts.
  • Child Safety: Do not leave the spray bottle within reach of children or persons not qualified to handle it properly.
  • California Proposition 65 Warning: This product contains chemicals, including lead, known to the state of California to cause birth defects and other reproductive harm. It is designed to apply chemicals that may be harmful and could cause serious personal injury if inhaled or brought into contact with the user.

  • Drying: Dry the spray bottle and clear the nozzle of any buildup.
  • Storage: Store the spray bottle in a clean, cool, shaded location to protect it from extreme heat or frost.
  • Important Note: Proper spray bottle maintenance is crucial for ensuring the life and performance of your spray bottle. Many spray materials can harden if left in the spray bottle, causing clogs in the nozzle or hose. Gasoline should never be used to clean out your spray bottle.
