Valve Removal
Before detaching the port connections on the valve body, perform
the following:
1. Clean, rinse and drain the pipe system elements attached to
the valve.
2. Remove or block the fluid and gas lines to prevent material
from entering the pipe system elements attached to the
valve.
3. Shut off the delivery of the control air unless it is required for
the removal of the valve stem/actuator assembly from the
body.
4. Disconnect the electrical supply and lockout all power.
5. If the valve has a control module with solenoid, the air and
electric supply must remain ON until the valve is properly
disassembled.
