It is recommended to wrap the
bag that the clamps come in
around the cage before you
slide the clamp onto the cage to
prevent scratching.

Placement of the pod depends on what type of roll
cage you have (factory or aftermarket) and your
preference of where you want the pods to be installed.
In these instructions, we have installed them on the
outside vertical bars at the back of the roll cage.

Universal Cage Mount
SSV Works 6.5” Speaker Enclosures
FOR UNLOADED ENCLOSURES:
If using a different brand speaker, rst see if
the speaker holes line up with the screw bosses
(circled in pink on Figure 1). Be sure to use the
8 supplied SSV Works #7 screws when installing
your own speaker.

Speaker Installation Steps

Orient Speaker and Install Set Screws

Find the best speaker orientation on the bar and install set screws in opposite holes for clamp installation.

Mount Cage Pod to Vehicle

Loosely install the clamp base to the cage mount pod with bolts and washers, then position it on the vehicle.

Secure Cage Mount Pod

Place ring mounting clamps on the cage, position the pod, and secure using socket head bolts and an Allen key.

Tighten Speaker Mounting Bolts

Position the speaker to your liking and tighten the hex head bolts by hand using an 8mm wrench.

Route Speaker Wire

Route the speaker wire away from moving parts and sharp metal, then connect it to the amplifier.

Wiring Instructions

Speaker Polarity and Amplifier Connection

Ensure correct speaker polarity by connecting '+' to '+' and '-' to '-'. Refer to amplifier instructions for SSV Works systems.
