USER’S MANUAL
Congratulations on your purchase of a STADLER FORM KETTLE FIVE
SFK.8800 teapot. This very convenient teapot is a pleasure to use in the
preparation of drinks.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read the instruction manual carefully before using this appliance.
The manufacturer is not liable for any injury or damage resulting from
improper use of this appliance.
This teapot is a household appliance and is designed for home use in strict
accordance with the instruction manual. Improper operation or modica-
tion of the device may create conditions hazardous to the life and health
of the user.
This appliance is not intended to be used by children or incapacitated
adults without proper supervision, or those without the necessary skills
to use electrical appliances or who have not read and understood the
manual.
Before plugging in the teapot, make sure the voltage corresponds to the
voltage for which it has been certied.
Do not ll the teapot with water above the maximum level (1.5 l) mark,
otherwise boiling water may spill out of the teapot.
Do not switch on an empty teapot.
This teapot is equipped with a safety device that prevents the teapot
from overheating if it is turned on with too little water in it. If this hap-
pens, the teapot will automatically shut down.
Use the teapot only with the original base that came with it.
Before switching on the teapot, make sure the lid is tightly closed. To
prevent injuries and dangerous situations, do not open it while there is
hot water inside.
Do not use the teapot without the limescale lter installed.
To avoid electric shock, never touch the power plug with wet hands.
Do not use the teapot with a damaged or overloaded extension cord. The
teapot is not intended to be used with an external timer or other remote
control system.
To avoid hazardous situations, make sure the cord does not hang down
over the edge of the table or touch any surface that could damage it, and
also make sure it doesn’t get tangled or twisted.
Do not use the teapot near ammable substances.
Do not use the teapot on sloped or unstable surfaces.
Do not use the teapot in wet places or near sources of heat. Do not leave
the appliance exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
Do not boil any liquid in the teapot other than water.
Do not touch the hot surfaces of the teapot. Hold it by the handle when
moving it. Use caution when handling a teapot lled with hot water.
Do not leave a switched-on teapot unattended.
Unplug the teapot after use and before cleaning.
