Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor is the semiconducting
element which is more and more often used in high power
electronic systems. This element compounds the advantages of
bipolar transistor (good conduction conditions, high blocking
voltage, good workmanship) and unipolar transistor (initiation
at low power loss). Also the short circuit resistance may be
treated as the advantage, because the IGBT limits the load
current. IGBT are the another phase of vertical MOSFET
