LOGS/LIMBS WITH PRESSURE ON 
BOTTOM (FIGURE 5)
1.  Observe all safety precautions.
2.  Begin with a bottom cut. The depth of the cut should 
be about 1/3 of the log diameter.
3.  Finish  with  an  upper  cut,  down  from  the  top.  The 
saw cuts should meet.

THICK LOGS LARGER THAN BAR 
LENGTH WITH PRESSURE ON THE 
BOTTOM (FIGURE 6)
1.  Observe all safety precautions.
2.  Begin by cutting on the opposite side of the log.
3.  Pull the saw towards you and cut from the top.
4.  Cut from the bottom. Make a boring cut if the log is 
close to the ground.
5.  Finish with a top cut.
