What to do if my Stanley SXPG23701 engine will not start?

If your Stanley Chainsaw engine won't start, there are several potential causes. First, ensure the ignition switch is set to 'ON'. If the engine is flooded, refer to the 'Difficult Starting' section on page 22. Check that the fuel tank isn't empty and, if it is, refill it with the correct fuel mixture. A faulty spark plug could also be the culprit, so try installing a new one. Finally, make sure fuel is reaching the carburetor by checking for a dirty fuel filter (replace if necessary) or a kinked/split fuel line (repair or replace as needed).
