Reader Tamper
If the reader is pulled away from the wall, the tamper plug remains attached to the wall and
a reader tamper condition is generated.
The voltage on the Tamper line is normally low. If reader tamper is detected, the voltage on
the Tamper line becomes high and the reader sounds 3 long beeps every 5 seconds for two
minutes, then stops.
To clear a reader tamper condition, reattach the reader to the wall.
