The warnings, precautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover
all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the operator that
common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into this product, but must be supplied
by the operator. Read carefully and understand all ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
before operating. Failure to follow the safety rules and other basic safety precautions may result in
serious personal injury.

DO NOT allow persons to operate or assemble the product until they have read this manual and
have developed a thorough understanding of how it works.
DO NOT modify this product in any way. Unauthorized modication may impair the function and/or
safety and could affect the life of the product. There are specic applications for which the product
was designed.
Use the right tool for the job. DO NOT attempt to force small equipment to do the work of larger
industrial equipment. There are certain applications for which this equipment was designed. This
product will be safer and do a better job at the capacity for which it was intended. DO NOT use this
equipment for a purpose for which it was not intended.
Keep children and bystanders away from the work area while operating the tool. DO NOT allow
children to handle the product.

Keep everyone other than the operator at least 10 feet from the Auger during operation. People
using hand tools should not move or remove soil-pile while the Auger is operating. Always keep children
away from the Auger, especially while it is operating.
Wear protective gear. Always use steel-toed footwear, snug-tting clothing, heavy-duty, non-slip gloves,
eye protection or eye screen, approved hard hat and appropriate sound barriers. Regular should have
their hearing checked regularly as chainsaw noise can damage hearing. Be sure to secure hair above
shoulder length.
Keep all parts of your body away from the chainsaw when the engine is running.
DO NOT operate the chainsaw when you are fatigued, ill or are under the inuence of medication, drugs
or alcohol.
Chainsaw work is strenuous, if you have a condition that may be aggravated by extended use of the
chainsaw, check with your doctor prior to using the chainsaw.
Keep a good rm grip on the saw with both hands, the right hand on the rear handle, and the left hand
on the front handle, when the engine is running. Use a rm grip with thumbs and ngers encircling the
chainsaw handles. A rm grip will help you reduce kickback and maintain control of the saw.
