Where to Install the Appliance
• Install the appliance away from heat sources such as radiators, ranges, hobs and stoves.
• Leave a minimum gap of 10cm above and to the rear of the dryer to ensure sucient air
circulation.
• Do not install the appliance in a damp environment.
• Adequate ventilation must be available to ensure that there is no back ow of gasses into the
room from appliances burning other fuels including open res. It is advisable to leave a window
open in the room when drying.
• Take care not to obstruct the air inlet which is located at the lower rear of the appliance on the
left hand side as viewed from the rear.
INSTALLATION
Levelling the Appliance
The appliance must be level. This can easily be achieved by means of the four fully adjustable feet.
Level from side to side rst, then from front to back.
Electrical Connection
Please check the data plate to ensure that the supply voltage is correct for this appliance.
Fitting a Dierent Plug
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance
may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the
terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
1. Connect the green-yellow or green (earth) wire to the terminal
in the plug marked ‘E’ or with the symbol of f or coloured
green and yellow or green.
2. Connect the blue (neutral) wire to the terminal in the plug
marked ‘N’ or coloured black.
3. Connect the brown (live) wire to the terminal in the plug
marked ‘L’ or coloured red.
With the alternative plugs a 13A fuse must be tted either in the
plug or adaptor or in the main fuse box. If in doubt contact a
qualied electrician.
WARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED
Connect the appliance directly to the supply using the 13amp plug provided. Do not plug
into an adaptor or extension lead.
