2. Install the front wheel
For ease of transport, your bike may come with the front wheel uninstalled. The 20mm thru axle needs to be correctly
inserted into the dropout when installing the wheel.
RST
The axle should be inserted from the LHS and wound in a clockwise direction with the locking nut (left hand thread) wound
in to the RH end of the axle in an anti-clockwise direction.
Important:
When removing the front wheel, always undo the lock nut first. The lock nut is located at the RH end of the axle and can be
released by turning the lock nut in a clockwise direction.
Remove stem cap
Hold assembly for
ease of installation
Remove axle
Slide axle through
hub
Tighten with 8mm
Allen key
