This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar
applications such as:
o staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and others working
environments
o by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type en-
vironments
o bed and breakfast type environments.
The appliance should be switched off when the water tank is
empty or when it should not be used. If the appliance is not
used for longer time, it should be unplugged and cleaned.
After any malfunction the appliance should not be used anymo-
re, e.g. after is fell down or was damaged in any other way.
The manufacturer takes no responsibility for wrong usage
which is caused by ignoring the instruction manual.
Any repairs at the appliance, e.g. exchange a damaged power
cord must be done by an authorized service person, to avoid
any danger.
When any abnormal smell occurs is it important to switch off
the appliance and contact the service.
Do not place the opening for the mist against any electrical
appliances or sockets.
Cleaning:
When water with a lot of scale is used it can happen that some
scale covers the bottom of the water tank, in the base or on the
surface of the ultrasonic transductor surrounding area. When the
scale covers the transductor too much the appliance cannot work
correctly.
If the appliance is not used for some time, e.g. during the sum-
mer or when too much scale is inside the appliance, then do
according following instructions.
The appliance must be unplugged and the water must be remo-
ved from the base and out of the water tank by opening the co-
ver at the bottom of the water tank and pour out the water. Only
