Before initial use:
∙ Wipe off the device with a damp towel.
∙ The sealing rings and the bag sealing bar must be clean and level, otherwise it will
not be possible to generate a vacuum.
Cleaning
∙ Unplug the device and leave to cool down.
∙ Do not immerse the device in water or pour water
over it.
∙ For hygienic reasons, the device must be cleaned after every
use.
∙ Remove the upper rubber lid and clean in warm soapy water,
leave to dry and insert it again.
∙ Wipe the other parts with a damp cloth with detergent and
dry. Do not use abrasive detergents.
∙ Ensure that the welding strip and the upper seal are not
damaged.
∙ Ensure that no liquids enter the vacuum extractor when clea-
ning.
Roll of film / bags
Use only the special rolls of film / plastic bags with 3D-structure that are suitable for
vacuuming and sealing. If the wrong film is used it will stick to the device and dama-
ge the sealing bar. The following special films are available from Steba, among other
